What to get a mother for her birthday???

Shes 40+ but below 50

There should be no budget but I dont make money so lets keep it under 300

I try to outdo my last gifts which was a tower fan lol and a pentax camera, Im running out of ideas

help please? thanks

True..doesnt have to be expensive

You sound like a wonderful son,but you should really stop trying to "outdo" your last gifts. Mothers (or at least me) am just happy when they give me a birthday card and wish me a "happy birthday" I at least know that they are thinking about me! However, my sons, like you, think they HAVE to get me a gift...so they have started to give me gift cards....I Love them!! I can go and pick out something that I really like and can use and it also reminds me of my sons when I look at it.I have got one from Canadian Tire(there is ALWAYS something there to buy) and Winners (they have clothes, furniture, household deco, etc) Don't forget...the greatest gift is a son (or daughter)who cares! (and I don't mean by buying gifts)

lips gloss......make up stuff........take her to dinner.....clothe....gift card

or buy her a new phone

How about some jewelry? Doesn't have to be expensive, sterling silver is nice. Or maybe an MP3 player if she likes music but doesn't have one already...

Something meaningful. You don't need the expensive kind of gifts, but something heartfelt. Does she like vases, nice crockery, or anything like that? You could always get her some flowers and take her out to dinner. She would probably like that, what mother doesn't enjoy going out to a nice restaurant with her son. Good luck.

Maybe a nice evening gown or dress

PERHAPS YOU COULD SPEND THE DAY WITH HER TAKE HER OUT, GO TO A NICE RESTAURANT, GIVE HER A JOURNAL OF ALL THE NICE THINGS SHE'S DONE FOR YOU IN YOUR LIFE AND WHAT SHE MEANS TO YOU, TELL HER YOU LOVE HER AND GIVE HER A HAND MADE GIFT OR GIVE HER A GIFT CERTIFICATE TO A SPA, FOOT MASSAGE, OR NEW HAIR DO, AND DON'T FORGET TO TELL HER HOW MANY MORE BIRTHDAYS YOU WANT TO SPEND WITH HER!!!!!

jewlery, maybe a mothers' ring
a full day at the spa and dinner
