Got a Pentax Optio E10 camera that my son now uses,? |
He wants to be able to upload his pics to the computer but is unable to because I cant install the software due to the disc getting lost, HELP! Ive been onto the Pentax website but it is no help whatsoever. Our operating system is XP You dont need the software, windows recognises the camera as a removable disk and can be accessed by going to start > my computer > removable disk > The software simply allows you to view the images but any photo viewing software will do the same job. The camera should show up in My Computer as a "folder" which you can copy the files from. Alternatively, you can buy a USB card reader. No software is needed. |

I would use NiMH rechargeable AA batteries (2600 mAh or above). Alkaline batteries do not have enough power for digital cameras and they are not good for the environment. ...Definitely sounds like the LCD display is broken if it looks funny when it's turned off. I've heard of people getting replacement displays for around $50.00 or so and installing them them...
