Pentax K10D- B&W photos? |
I am interested in getting a K10D and recently read an article on the lesser K100d. In it the author mentioned that the K100d would not let you take black and white photos at the time of capture but you could turn it black and white after the shot in the camera. It's the same for the K10D. You shoot in color and in playback mode, select B&W to turn the image to B&W. In essence, it's a "manual" B&W mode. Even if there wasn't you should still probably be shooting in colour and then converting to gray scale in your computer because you can alter the reds, greens, and blues. If you just shoot B&W in your camera you have lost that colour forever. There is a BW feature in the Fn area of the K10D that allows you to convert to BW after the shot is taken. You can also pick out for Red, Blue or Green channel (for more dramatic B&W shots). But previous answer is correct, its after you shoot. I am not sure what the problem is. |
