Is it possible to mature and have growth and not realise it? |
I am talking growth as in maturity and improvement -not physically. I ask this because I look back on my old essays and photos and old diaries and can't believe some of the things I used to think and write. I can't believe I looked the way I did and acted that way without realising how much of a fool I looked. well I think you answer your question in your story... I think we all look back and notice how much we have matured. Maybe I misunderstood your question, but I think we all don't realize it because of how fast life seems to be. Yes, I think this happens with a lot of people. Yes its possible. I went through something very tragic and it made me mature extremely quickly. I never realized it was happening until I saw how different my viewpoints were than other people my age. Yes, it is. If you look back at what you did, how you looked and think about it in terms of where you are right now, I think you can see it quite well. If you never look at where you have been, then maybe you wouldn't realize it. |
