Where can I find information on photographs taken by the Russians of the World War Two Holocaust?

I am writing an essay on how the Holocaust was represented in media around the world. I'm focussing on mainly how American and British photographs of the Holocaust came to represent the Holocaust in it's entirety even when, in the case of Auschwitz, the photographs taken by the American's and British were actually of completely different concentration camps! The Russians took the photo's of Auschwitz but American and British photographs of another camp came to represent it anyway. I wish to explore this and so am looking for information on Russian Holocaust photographs and photographers in World War Two.

P.S. I'm not here to debate my topic so please keep your opinion to yourself if you don't have the information I'm looking for. If you must argue your point please email it to me.

Thank you.

I don't have any information specifically regarding photographs, but I do know that the first concentration camp to be liberated was Maidanek in July 1944. A week afterwards, the BBC correspondent in Moscow went on tour of the camp and sent a report back to the BBC in London. The BBC refused to air his report of the camp as his description was so unbelievable they considered it a Soviet propaganda ploy. It was not until the later capture of Buchenwald, Dachau and other camps on the western front that his description was accepted as true.
Since the Soviets liberated Auschwitz before the western allies had liberated any of the camps, it seems likely that the initial reports and photos of Auschwitz were also similarly supressed until the US found Buchenwald.

edit:
I found some of the original Soviet photos here:
