The Criminal Policia of Cancun? |
Following the brutal double murders of a married Canadian couple in Cancun, I've started an email campaign direceted @ P.M. Stephen Harper & Presidente Vincente Fox. Dear Mr. Prime Minister Harper: I should begin by saying I did not vote for you HOWEVER,I have no one else to turn to regarding the murder of the two Canadian tourists in Cancun. I visited Cancun last year & based on my experience have reason to believe that the Mexican officials are covering up the tragic murder of the two tourists from Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada. Don't you find it odd how a "professional" investigation so quickly named the perpetrators as Canadian....convenient for the Mexicans. I refer you to the Globe and Mail article which quotes a Canadian tourist staying @ the same resort as saying she approached the crime scene the day of the crime & was finally turned away by maids. Wait, where was the crack Cancun CSI squad. Based on my experiences,I know for a fact that Cancun police officers are extremely corrupt & have no morals. Now I read in the Globe that the Mexicans want to cremate the bodies. Smells like a cover up to me. I call for you through Minister Mackay to issue an immediate travel advisory for Canadians travelling to Mexico. Here is my travel review from my personal experiences @ the Blue Bay Getaway in Cancun last year: "I'm not sure where to begin but let's start with the mold in the room. Our 1st room smelled like a dead body had been in it. A worker happened to leave a doorway near our room open & it was covered in mold(I have photos). When I confronted Rene the manager...he claimed it was fresh paint smell! It took 2 more days of persistent complaints to get a room sans mold!(all 3 of us in the room are still suffering severe respiratory symptoms...my son down with pneumonia). In my discussions with Rene I asked him why Canadians were being arrested/"fined" @ an average of one per day from his resort, on ridiculous charges...he claimed this was an "urban legend". Gee, calling a guest a liar...nice. Mr. Rene needs to look up the phrase "customer service" in the dictionary & write a 50 word essay without including the phrase: "Signor, we are not responsible"! ! The hotel organized a VIP night out to the bar Daddy Rocks. One guest was obviously extremely intoxicated but still allowed on the bus. At the bar I watched the bar staff take all his $ with shots he hadn't ordered, roses for the shot girls & taunt him into buying cocaine. I went to find our "guide" but he hadn't shown. The bar manager denied all...of course. When I went to get the cops he found this guest & we cabbed it back to BBG. I confronted the front desk staff...but their favorite saying is: "Signor, we are not responsible"!(when I asked what happened to these shot girls...NOTHING) The laundry outside was broken so the front desk directed me to take a bus to downtown Beirut/Cancun. I called the BBG & said I felt unsafe but: "Signor, we are not responsible"! So exactly what is BBG responsible for if not their guests?? Our last night my buddy went across the street to the La Boom disco with a group. After 3 beers he woke up on the front lawn with no $, I.D. or $400 watch. Once again BBG "Wasn't responsible" or even helpful! We had to pay the local crime family...I mean policia, to write a report to get my bud out of Mexico. Other than that it was fun (sarcasm alert). Thank you for listening, Mr. Prime Minister. When did this Happen??? |
