Who knows how to re install micrsoft 2000 without having the cd i lost it? |
I need help i was removing files from my computer and somehow deleted microsft 2000 which is the program i use to make my essays and where i had some important information .it told me to restart my computer and i did and when i went back to try and open my files that were under microsoft word or microsoft photo it wouldn't get in , the icon also changed. You can't reload what you deleted, unless you spend a small fortune on a computer expert. You have to get a new copy of microsoft 2000. Your old one is corrupted. So, IF you have your original windows, best thing to do is to have someone reformat your hard drive (C only, copy your stuff to D first) then start over again. cant be done - what are you going to reload? fresh air? borrow a disk, the code should be stuck to your computers case somewhere if you delete the program by going to add/remove in control pannels, you're screwed.... hopefully you didn't, otherwise go to local drive c: , program files-> microsoft office -> officexx(xx is a number for version) and in this folder look for winword, 2x click on it, if it opens up, then you are lucky... all you have to do is make a shortcut to it... office 2000? you may get it cheap at a local store clearance or computer show... if you just need word, word is getting cheaper and if you are a student, you can get it at discount for student/academic...
