How do I find the "right" laptop computer for me? |
My current laptop is getting old and I'm looking to move on to a newer one. I have a desktop PC but I think I'm sacrificing it to my parents who are without computer, so this will be my only computer... * Internet use - I need internet access for classes and so I don't shrivel up and die without it. Email, chatting with friends, research for classes, keeping on top of assignments, online banking, etc. * Word stuff - I write a lot, research papers and essays for classes and writing stories is one of my hobbies. * Music - I have a lot of it and I like it all. I don't want to get rid of it. * Movies - I don't really do a lot with making movies on my computer, though I do watch DVDs on my laptop when I can, because that lets me sit anywhere as opposed to being stuck in front of a television. * Photos - I just need basic photo stuff, nothing too fancy, though I do want to be able to run something better than MS Paint. * Gaming - I have given up gaming. * Durability - I'm a klutz.
