What are some examples of a fase sense of security???

I have to create a photo essay that conveys the Idea that "In exchange for false security [we] pay with personal freedoms." I need some examples of things that I could either take pictures of or find pictures online that convey this idea. So far I have Neighboorhood watch signs and walled in housing communities. Thanks so much!

I think: images of gun barrels, police officers, badges. CCTV cameras (sometimes you get set ups where it's a simple lamp-post holding about 30 cameras in all directions). "Gun-free" and "Drug-free" school zones. Passports, visas. Police vehicle searches. I don't know, i see an image of a mother protecting her child in a sort of overwhelming, overbearing way.

We are the children.
Triple locked NYC apartment front door, or a copy of MS Windows enhanced Security Edition.
any thing done by homeland security

Warning signs on big trucks that just tell you what explosive you are driving by.

Warnings on cigarette packs

Warnings on plastic bags

"Gun free" zones - like that is going to stop a man with a gun

US state department travel warnings. We told you not to go to Sudan so don't expect any help if you have problems.

Drug side effect warnings in tiny print especially the ones that say "May cause sudden death"
a handgun, suvs,
Off the top of my head, how about the xray scan machines at the airport, security gaurds at schools, searches at concerts...
The first time that my son flew on an airplane with me he was about 4 years old. Before we boarded the plane I explained the process to him. We talked about how the plane engines would make noise and how it would feel.
He told me that he wasnt afraid of anything happining to the plane because he knew that I would save him.
His love and trust in me gave him a false sense of security that if the plane crashed I would be able to save and protect him.
Hospitals offer a false sense of security in that we have the expectation that if we are sick, these places can, and will, make us well. However, there are a number of people who die of infections, complications and malpractice in these facilities.

Restaurants are places where we intend to have a good meal; however, we really don't know if we are eating food that is safe from the germs and infections of the cooks and servers, if the food is fresh, or if it has been prepared under sanitary conditions.

As is evidenced by the tragedies at Columbine and Virginia Tech, schools are also not at safe as we think they are.
