I'd like to put a picture on my essay, but I want the picture to be in the middle of the paragraph with the words surrounding the pic. Instead in breaks mid sentence and leaves a big blank space. I do not want that. How do I make the paragraph "surround" the picture?
Real easy. Just highlight/click your picture, then click Format, then click Picture--this will bring up the Format dialog box. Click Layout tab, click the way you want to wrap text around your picture, click how you want to align the graphic with the text, click OK. You can try various settings until you get the one you want.
double click the photo, a "format picture" window should pop open, click on layout and choose your text wrapping style.
