How can I get all the photos on my computer into one place and be able to share them on Yahoo IM?

I have photos in several locations on my computer and have to go to several files to share them on IM. Windows photo gallery has them all but I can't share them from there or is there a way? Is there a program that allows all to be in one place and be able to share them on IM?.thanks for the help

Personally, I use Google's Picasa 2. It's a free application and integrates seamlessly with their Picasa Web Album product. You can index all photos using the desktop client and with the click of a button, upload any or all to your web album where you can either share them as public or private. Additionally, each album and each photo page contain hyperlinks which can be used to embed photos in emails, IMs, Forums, etc. Easy sleazy to use and as it's a Google product it's just awesome! click on the photos one by one and put them all into one folder

create a new folder .. cut the images you would like to share and paste them on the new folder..

you need to save it all in JPEG files so that any site will gladly accept that,,make a folder , then name that folder for uploads , then drag it all there ,,,, one at a time , you can upload few worth preserving memories and part of you then let the internet preserve that for the generations to , review the past in building the future ,, ahhh what a record....is this grandfa?
