How do i create a 'photo CD'?

i need to burn some photos on a cd so that they can be viewed on a dvd player, like the ones you get from kodak or boots, in my Windows photo gallery when i click 'burn' the options are 'Data Disc' or 'Video DVD'. i wouldnt have thought either was the right option?

definitely no picture cd option but ill do it on a dvd instead, thanx.

There should have been a "picture cd" option. If there wasn't use the Video DVD selection. Then just drag & drop your pic's over to it. The worst that will happen is it will play your pic's back, back to back like a movie.

i would personly try 'Data Disc'.
if that doesn't work, than just try with another disc, they're not very expensive.

Use windows movie maker just load your photos into the main screen and drop them into the boxes at bottom, when finished you can burn to either cd/dvd

Burn pics of PC on 2 a disc

Photo s are Data.

In Windows Photo Gallery, select the photos you wish to burn from All Pictures and Videos > Pictures and choose Burn from the menu along the top. This launches the CD burning wizard.

Select Data Disc if you want to view the images on a computer, or choose Video DVD if you want to be able to put the disc in your DVD player and view the pictures on your TV.
Insert a blank CD into your disc drive.

Enter a name for your CD.

Click Burn to disc. The burner writes the pictures to CD.
