Photo Gallery Can't Open This Picture? |
The complete message is: Muffer_3: Your answer is what makes this place Y/A the place it is. I asked a genuine question and that which I needed a genuine answer and you my friend provided that and so much more. turn on UAC in user accounts, but remember your venerable running your computer logged on with administrative rights because if a Trojan takes hold, the Trojan has the same rights and will delete things System Restore shouldn't effect those pictures at all. Unless you're restoring something due to Picture Viewer messing up, SysRes shouldn't have changed anything. (When you double click a picture file, say .jpg, .gif, .bmp, etc. Picture Viewer shows the picture. This is Microsoft's product & installed on most, if not all, windows versions.) Run checkdisk. Double click MyComputer, then right click C:\, then Tools, & you'll find "Error Checking". Check the fix system file box (not search for bad sectors) & OK it. It'll ask you about running at reboot (or startup), say yes & reboot your PC. (Wait a few seconds to see if it reboots itself. It usually doesn't, it leaves running checkdisk up to you). It'll take about 5-10 minutes to check & fix what it can. It's been a lifesaver for me a dozen times. |
