How to look like a girl!?

so my friend ( yes someone who is not me) wants to look like this person. She is a female. She wants to look more like Bill Kaultiz.
He is VERY androgynous, so she believes she should bulk up
to take on a male body.
I say to her " but he looks feminine, wont it make more sense to just lose some weight and then wear dudes clothing? Thats pretty much what he does?"

But, she says, people can look and tell he's a dude too, even if he looks feminine, they are usually confused. She wants to be as androgynous as he is.
Since I'm the designated "GLBT expert" among my friends, She asks me to analyze his face and body for clues. Bill isn't even GLBT, just a famous teen pop-rocker.
Even I'm lost!!!

what makes him masculine, yet feminine? He treads the line very well!! I'm impressed, as I'm sure you will be

Masculinity and Femininity are a spectrum like a line, with strongly mas and fem people on the opposite ends of the line. Everyone else is on a point somewhere in between the two extreme edges.
Bill is pretty much in the middle where his mas side and fem side are about equal which is why he is so androgine.
I am happy to see that androgeny might be coming back in style. I think it is completely sexy, and hopefully it will bring about widespread neutral gender public rest rooms.
