How do I get my photos smaller so they can be accepted in my emails as attachments? |
I take the picture on my digital, plug it in, transfer to my gallery, select them, add to the email, send it and then I get a 'deamon' response-can't send, photo too large. Here is a free on line photo resizer i have used it and found it easy to use and offering a good free service. no software download needed. In Windows Explorer make sure that the XP style of view is chosen. You would click on the Folder Icon in your tool bar. Download and install the freeware IrfanView, it has many useful features, yet is extremely easy to handle. Once it is installed, open your pic with it, go to "image" in the top bar, click "change size", enter the desired size, also change the DPI (dots per inch) settings to 72, then save your pic as .jpg or .gif. Use the free irfanview. Then resize the photo and make sure you save it. Then try sending that. |
