http://photos.tmz.com/galleries/week_in_... According to the story that TMZ ran a couple weeks ago, she had a tummy tuck and told them that she didn't need one. Everybody has a belly button. They can hide it, or they can edit the photo, but they all have one. If you look close you can see it was obviously blurred out. If you made spaghetti every Tuesday night, back in the late 80's, with a good friend and watched "Thirty Something", you may be my Ellen, my Ethan, my Elliott, my Michael, my hopefully not Hope...". Patricia Heaton was Nancy. She is a skillfull actress. To answer your question, her lack of belly button is the direct effect of lack of gravity upon conception.
