I'm a blonde wanting to go brunette... opinions PLEASE!!! :)?

so i want to dye my hair brown but i don't know if it's a good idea...

here's me but my hair's about 2-3 inches longer now

you're really pretty! You look marvelous as a blonde but if you are to dye it, I think with such a fair complexion as yours, it's best to go with a brunette that is lighter... like a medium or a golden brown. Dark hair can sometimes wash out fair complexion. I just dyed my golden brown hair dark, and more makeup is definitely needed to pull off the colour! I think you'd look wonderful either way, but start with a light brown and go gradually darker depending on whether you like the colour or not. If you are truly keen on trying that particular shade of brown, go with a semi-permanent dye (clairol natural instincts has the best, most natural colours) and go from there.

I think you would suit being blonde more so than brunette...but if you really want to go brunette try doing it gradually by getting brown foils in your hair and seeing how you like the darker colour against your skin tone.

Anyway, your hair already looks good. But if you are looking for a change, you can definitely wear brown hair. I would say don't go TOO dark if you don't want to have to darken your brows with pencil each time you put on your makeup (dark hair and light brows looks unnatural). Maybe go with a medium tone? Either way, figure out which goes best with your skin tone--a cool brown or a warm brown. Cool is an ash tone. Warm has a gold and/or red shine to it in the sun.

omg you look amazing with blonde hair why do you want brunette???! you should go darker in the winter and fall, and lighter in the spring in summer. if i were you i would keep the blonde definitely, but if you have your heart on dyeing your hair it would look good. maybe you could just try brown highlights? or dye it brown and get blonde highlights? well whatever you do im sure itll look good lol good luck

and i went brunette for a couple of months
i liekd it, but it was really hard to keep up because my roots came in so quickly so i would have to keep getting it re-dyed and i was afraid it would kill my hair
but it was fun
i would reccommend it, it was fun to be brunette for a little bit

ugh girl!! YOUR A NATURAL BLONDE!! don't go brown, you'll regret it. Everybody wants to be a blonde, why throw away your natural hair color? Brown is boring, stick with blonde and just get some highlites if you wanna play up your hair.

that dark color will wash you out so much it won't even be funny! You're gonna have to go with a soft, light brown. You see the color of your highlights? Go with something like that. That would be very pretty. But please, don't go dark!!!!!!!

Can't see the 2nd link but I say you can use any color product, going darker is easier, just make sure you cover everything evenly.

I think you are one of those people that would look great as a brunette and a blonde.
