Any picture/ image experts out there? |
I have a picture (a .jpg file) which I cut and get the quarter portion of it. As I saved the cut out, it became a bitmap file. My problem is that I cannot find that image I cut out in the directory whenever I upload the image in my email or Friendster. I sure did save that file. I tried opening it and saving it in other programs like paint, photo gallery etc etc. as a .jpg file but it would always end up with a bmp extension, hence it cannot be uploaded as a viewable image. Anything I might have missed out doing? Thanks. ok so what i do to change the file type is open the picture on microsoft paint and add like a microscopic dot to it and then i click save as and under where it says title it will say "save as type" choose jpeg and voila you're done!! ^_^ |
