Hair help... ????? 10 points!!!?

i'm thinking of dying my hair a natural red color. i'm also a singer so i think people might think i'm trying to look like hayley williams but i'm not. my hair won't be bright like hers, i want it to look natural. what do you think? any other original ideas? if i do dye my hair how will i put up with critisicm?

what brand of hair dye do you recommend?

my hair is blonde, blue eyes, fair skin...
dark auburn or light auburn?

if you really like the color then you should dye it and shouldn't worry about what other people think. and maybe you should try a different cut so it doesn't look the same. if people talk they will only talk for away but sooner or later they will eventually stop. and i guess light auburn's look nice.

I recommend the herbal esscence collection of hair dyes. To be honest, her hair is not bright... bright is like my best friend's hair, 100% natural, but it looks like a fire. She also has very fair skin and blue eyes. I would go for a bright bright red because it honestly looks fabulous. Plus, there are tons of people in the singing industry with the same colour of hair, as long as you keep it up, people meeting you for the first time won't really know it's not your natural colour anyway. Anyway, have fun with your hair colour, it'll grow out.... Mine was blue for three years, for me, the crazier, the better.

dark auburn would be to dramatic

just go to an asian hair store and like look around in the aisles they have the best dye! critisism no biggie just let them kno that they r just jealous that ther hair isnt like urs! i would go with dark auburn

Ok, if your hair is blonde its going to take you a couple times to get it to a shade you like. At first it's going to come out a real pale version of what you want. I strongly recommend you go to a professional to have it done the first time, if you cannot do that, the I want to suggest you go find a Sally Beauty Supply, buy the color, developer and applicator bottle all seperate, that way you control what you're putting on your head. They will be able to direct you on what to buy. The box formulas are preset with the color and developer, there's no telling on what volume they have put in there, as well as if it's the right shade for the color you want. I say dark auburn the first time. You might also try just doing a strand test. Part the hair down the back, pick a small section underneath and color it. So you can see how it's going to turn out, before you do your whole head.

Critisicim-ignore it, it's your hair and if somebody says you look like that person then say thanks. A lot of people hav that color hair. Just because you are choosing that color and you are a singer doesn't mean that you want to imintate her. A lot of singers have red hair, you kneo.

Well first off if you're trying to fit your hairstyle with your profession then look at other singers in your genre. I'm guessing you do music similar to punk, grunge, ect.

In that case and considering you dont want to copy hayley williams try going a little deeper of a red with blonde streaks or blonde underside.

i think it will look good, people with fair skin look really good with red hair and i think it would be cute kind of bright! it doesnt matter who that girl is, actually i didnt even know her, lol. who cares what people say as long as you like your hair.

really the kind you get doenst matter, you can get the shxt at wal mart or you can spend about the same amount of $ and go to sallys beauty supply, if you have one in your area and get some stuff there, its less damaging to your hair, becasue you will have to do it often with red. red fades quickly, so if you go to sallys make sure to pick up a couple of deep conditioning treatments (they are only a dollar a piece).
