Would you recommend getting a shiba inu? |
heres a photo of one: http://www.gotpetsonline.com/pictures-ga... They are beautiful dogs. My little one is great. She is hilarious. If you decide to get one, my number one recommendation is to socialize them from a puppy. Beebee is great! She listens, minds commands, will not go to the bathroom in the house (No accidents, nothing!), very active, can entertain herself, gets along great with the cat, somewhat independent, and has the most personality I've ever seen in any dog. I love the breed and as long as you are willing to socialize them and keep them on a leash (cause they will wander), then I would recommend a Shiba Inu in a heartbeat. I have never actually seen one, but have heard alot about them, you know they are one of the oldest breeds of dogs in the world. I would recommend getting a Shiba Inu as much as I would recommend getting a Basengi. I wouldnt. Im not saying that they are horrible dogs, But they are not an average type of dog. They are unbelievably independant and stubborn. Its not like they cant be trained. All dogs can be trained. Some just take a little or alot more patience than others. I would do a ton of studying first and see if your lifestyle would be good for a Shiba Inu. Its very important for the dog to be with someone who is compatible. Do both of you a favor and study up first. Good luck. they are ok but...eh. I know a crazy one named Kujo. No joke. I think there are better breeds out there. They are absolutely adorable dogs, and if I were going on looks alone I would say yes. However, they tend to be aloof and stubborn. Not for the average owner. |
