Where is the best place to post photos on the net? ( I take a lot of photos.)? |
I would like family, friends and maybe clients to have access to them...for viewing, sharing or maybe printing. The top two I am considering now are Yahoo and Shutterfly. Yahoo seems mostly free and I can quickly get a print at Target. Shutterfly has a real nice Pro Gallery program, that I would like to know more about. It sounds great...though I don't have the funds for it right now. They also have a pay-ahead program to lower the print price. There are so many outlets...and some good ones too. I'd like a location to store photos so I can delete them from my card. (I'll have to store a copy of important ones on my hard-drive somewhere??) I would also like a good quality printer who can print my black and whites or colors up to 16" x 20"s. Thanks for any photo input, Hangin' for now Flickr. http://www.flickr.com/ try YAHOO photos I like this site, it's fun to view and play on. www.webshots.com www.photobucket.com that's the one i use I really don't know that this will be the outlet that is right for you but in addition to Yahoo and Google and Photobucket.... *Facebook.com* allows completely unlimited storage for photos (with the only limit being 60 photos on an album, of your unlimited albums.) The site is free, and although it is geared toward college students, it has a sleek and classy style to it (which is more than I can say for Yahoo and Photobucket). If you do get an account, you can share any and all albums of yours with a simple link. Those viewing do not even need a facebook account. And there's a useful "tagging" tool to group certain pictures together, if you'd like. Try it out. All you need is a valid e-mail, I believe.
