How to mount photos for a showing? |
After being a photographer for years, and aways saying someday.... I have finally decided to have a gallery showing of my best photos. The questions is: Do I mount them on backerboard? Do I frame each one? Who is the most reputable person (company) to use to blow the photos up to a size suitable for showing (at least 16 X 20)? Thanks I'm a photographer, and this might seem primitive, but I've had 16x20 photos printed at WalMart for cheap and they turned out well. try actually going to a gallery or two and seeing how its done in your area... you will want them to look as good as possible. I'd recommend photowhite mats and simple black frames on alll cheers! Contact your gallery, and discuss it with them. They should have a lot more info about your areas resources, than we do, especially since we dont know your area. |
