How to convince Muslims that I'm ex-Muslim, I left Islam on evidences, and I was religious Muslim? |
What should I do, in your opinion, to prove to many who believe that anyone leave Islam either he got paid by ppl or agent or uneducated!!! huh? how to prove? should I put my gallery of photos? should I put lectures on Islam? do you think there is any way to help? any idea? If I criticize Islam to show my ideas about it, they say it is lies, even I cite Islamic sources, Is there anyway to solve this problem. by the way, I don't wanna use this forum for discussions and arguements anymore..because Yahoo Answers deleted some of my quesitons alleging that it violates terms by putting "Re:"...etc so in opposite, I ll report anyone use the answer for "re:" and attacking. never hesitant. so we can serve the community. Do you have any idea about how to convince Muslims? don't tell me don't refute Islam, because it is unfair Islamic scholars rediculate and prohibit other religions preaching, while we can't talk to them. it's unfair. NO OFFENSE You can't convince them. They are not able to accept that you rejected their religion on evidences, because if they were to accept that, then that means that their religion CAN be rejected by an intelligent person on the basis of evidence. They can't allow themselves to believe that because they need their religion to be true. They need to believe that there is substantial evidence for their religion. Their world would fall apart if they realized it wasn't as they think it is. Too much is at stake for them. It is very very hard to lay your religious beliefs on the line, TRULY look at them from a critical distance, because you have so much tied up with that religion. It gives you emotional support, it forms your entire worldview, it is part of your self-identity and it is the most important element of your life. It is frightening to even consider that it may be false. So people are not able to see the evidence you put before them, because they are not looking at it objectively at all. You can only have any effect with your evidences on those who are truly willing to look at them with true objectivity. But that person is rare. They are out there, obviously you were able to do it. So you can only do so much in convincing people. I am a Muslim. Present your evidences. I don't understand.... why do you have to prove anything to anyone. You believe what you want and let them believe what they want. You may believe they are wrong and even have proof, but for the "true believer" nothing you say or do will ever change their minds. Good luck If you were truly a practicing Muslim, you would know that the Quran prohibits insulting other religions. If you knew that, you would know that these clerics that you speak of are not acting in the proper Islamic fashion. Therefore, you can't really hold Islam accountable for this. But I'm very interested in seeing your evidence. In any case, I pray that you find the guidance that satisfies your personal spiritual needs, and I ask that any evidence you present, that you do it in a respectful and civilized way. And God only knows best. Ok, dont take offence from what i say. These are my thinking as to why I cant believe a true muslim can go to another religion. 1) You werent well educated on Islam when you were young. 2) IF you were well educated, you were probably given the wrong information 3)You say you left Islam on evidences... All the evidences you put on this website are not valid. The translation on the websites you posted on the Quran are false,exaggerated and contain extra words. The Myths on Islam are false allegations to Islam. You say you know Arabic, well, sorry to break it down to you, but the Arabic you know is not the same as the Qur;anic arabic. the Qur'anic Arabic is the best, and highest arabic. If you say you can interpret the Qur;an, than you should have reliable sources on where, when and why those verses were reveeald. Most of your answers I read clearly show that you dont have that kind of knowlege. 4) You just found it easier to find "salvation" and escape the responsibitly for your actions, and thats why you switch religion COnclusion: I may not believe that you were paid to shift religion, but you were probably given false information, brain washed and given wrong and false evidences, and thats why you changed religion. The reasons I gave may all be true or not. Why does it bother you what other muslims think. Let them think what they want. PS: These evidences on ISlam and the websites you cite are really messed up. Nothing is true. If you believe that it is true, than thats evidence that you were given false information :) hUrm..now i ask you..WERE you a religious Muslim before? then what happened? look..i know i've answered a few of your questions and i might've said somethings you don't like..here i wanna say sorry!~ okaY..i agree with you that you are able to choose what to believe..its just that you know i'm a Muslim and its a real pity (in my view) that you're proud you left us.. sorry i don't have the answers to this question of yours..just wanted to say Sorry for what i said before if it hurt you in a way..but please be sensitive on this case..some of your questions hurt me too you know!~ ^_^ |
