An African tribal chief with US education?


I remember seeing a black & white photo at a gallery featuring an African student of some US university (maybe Princeton), putting a tie on while looking at restroom mirror. The tagline said something along the lines "(person's name) will be returning to Africa to lead his tribe after graduation". Has anyone seen this photo? Who was featured in the photo and who took it? Thanks
