Windows delayed write failed? |
Yeah I did a search and apparently this isn't too rare, however when I get this message it pops up in the middle of the screen, and it says it failed writing to drive C. After I click ok, I cant open ANY programs at all (not even ctrl+alt+del) and I cant shut it off without holding the power button. And it doesn't stop there, more similar messages pop up saying it cant write other programs to the disk. If I for some reason do need a new hard drive, will I have to pay for a new OS, or can I transfer it over. My problem is exactly the same as it is in this picture, (but it is probably different file): http://www.aspnix.com/photos/aspnix_gall... That's not good, there may be a fault with the hard drive itself. How long have you had the drive? Perhaps it just needs a reformat and reinstall to clean it up. Sorry can't really offer much more info than that. Sorry, I don't know the answer, but I got a similar message a few minutes ago. I thought it would go away after I reboot, but it's still there. I don't remember installing anything new, and my antivirus is updated daily. Mine looks like this: http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee73/... It's really irritating not knowing why it keeps popping up like that. |
