Adobe photo shop! help on filters.? |
ok i usually dont have this problem but i was trying to add a filter to a picture but it wont select any of it. and i selected the picture and it wouldnt go to the filter gallery or anything. and caps arent on. anybody have an idea? sounds like a layer issue. make sure you're on a layer that has pixels in it and not just an adjustment layer like levels or curves. filters won't apply to these layers. it sounds like you have an empty selection. Source(s): longtime photoshop user What the guy above said... verify that image is rgb mode and not indexed, as well the selection on same layer you are editing, .. All of the above plus make sure you are not on a locked layer. Sometimes, if you open a picture you have to double click on it to unlock. Then if you have not selected a portion of it, the filter effect will be applied to the entire photo. |
