Why do Law enforcement agencies perpetuate the myth that police work is sooo dangerous? |
They act like such martyrs... when in fact... http://bostonworks.boston.com/photo_gall... I love the people who disagreed with you but admit they didn't look at your link. LOL. Because in certain areas it IS dangerous! common sense No. I think it's the criminals that perpetuate the reality that police work is dangerous. lol, because it is. Being a cop in most parts of LA is considered a high risk job as compared to most occupational specialties in the corporate world sitting at a desk in air conditioned buildings which are protected by the police. Cops die every day, CEO's do not. If you don't believe that police work is dangerous, then I would invite you to be a police officer in Baltimore!! Just becuse other jobs are dangerous too doesn't mean police work isn't. That line of reasoning makes little sense. Police work is dangerous because they deal with criminals, many of whom will do anything to stay out of jail. |
