Who loves Windows Vista? |
I think Windows Vista is an awesome OS. It does have a few minor issues, but not like what people claim it to be. I have a new sleek black Sony Vaio, and it runs Vista perfectly. I've had no problems with it at all. I've used Office 07's and love the new ribbon UI. Media Center is like the best thing ever. I love to play around with my media all the time. It's so awesome. Some of the other software like Photo Gallery, Game Explorer is neat. It works pretty well. IE7 is the best browser ever! Much better than IE6 and FF2. I also love the Sidebar, and use it for timers and notes. Desktop Search makes finding programs and files a whole lot easier. Overall, it's a wonderful OS. I don't see why there's so many complainers. The only small problem for me is lack of compatibility with some software. But it's not Vista's fault, it's the companies who don't produce the drivers. So what do you think of my Vista opinion? It is refreshing to finally see someone post good comments about Vista for a change. I have been using it since April and had some issues in figuring out the differences to make it do what I wanted. Don't like the side bar so it is disabled for now until needed. With a little diligence you can discover how to do anything you want with it. Now have forgotten most of the methods in XP and readily can do things I want in Vista. i think its cool... not me I love linux operating systems now they are awesome and free ms makes junk and very costly high maintanance virus ridden I depend on the net for a living some times cant do that when my computers keep crashing or MS locks up my hard drives on its own sure you can play tons of games but thats worhtless to me I just need to be secure on the net and MS simply cant do that for me not XP or vista, 98 seemed to last a little longer but not much before it was smoked i agree 100%...i dont see the big deal, i was kind of scared to buy my laptop because all the laptops now have vista. But i heard so many complaints about it, i guess because people dont like change. But if i had a choice to go back to XP i wouldnt = ) Toshiba laptop with Windows vista premium I love it, but just for the first 2 weeks, because after that it corrupts itself.
