I can't change my desktop background.? |
I am not sure what it is that won't let me do it, I've done control panel, right clicked and pressed save as desktop, windows photo gallery, etc. it just won't work. I don't have any major programs on my computer anymore, I deleted all the junk ones and I still can't. It's not that big of a deal, I just get tired of looking at a solid screen. I am on Windows Vista if that helps. Please help me. Easy,..... Step 1: Right click on your background then click on properties Step 2: Click on Desktop and there you have it pick the one you like. Or click browse if you want to put up your own. Good luck :) Erm i clicked properties and it didn't sayanything about desktop... but im on XP.. i have a SIMILAR problem, i can change mine, but if i restart it goes back to purple.. VISTA BACKGROUNDS start control panel personalization desktop background on the same page,you can choose themes to use Lake M, I've got the same problem. Check my question on: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/?link=... I've had no joy from the suggestion about disabling Active Desktop - it's not on. Good luck! |
