What color is my horse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!? |
i asked it before but i need more answers! give me a link to the horse chart where i can see the color you think he is!! go to young rider.com on the photo gallery hos titeled wolf and wolf the best horse ever! please!!!!!!! hes white or grey or roan or somthing please answer!!!!!!!! Is this the picture you're reffering to? http://youngrider.com/horse-gallery/phot... If so, your horse is absolutely grey, looks like he has some faint dapples as well. He's somewhere in the middle of the greying stage since he still has some of his dark points and dapples, he was probably born either black or bay. In a few more years those dark parts will fade out completely. EDIT: I just read your other question and everybody there gave you the correct answer as well. It's not strange at all for a grey horse to change color, ALL grey horses change color. They go through many different stages of colors/shades of grey, it's just a part of the process. It's not even unusual for a horse to look a different color in the winter than they do in the summer, in fact most horses do to a certain extent. Sorry, if you're expecting an answer that there's something unusual about him, you're out of luck. You simply have a lovely, normal, grey horse. It's one of my favorites because of all the different shades that occur during the process. Please visit this site to read more about the grey modifier: http://equinecolor.com/grey.html... Here's a link: http://youngrider.com/horse-gallery/phot... I don't know what color he is. grey He looks dappled grey. But if your still unsure heres a website where you can click on the name of the color & it will show you horses of that color. http://greenfield.fortunecity.com/dreams... heres a few links that shows most colors including roans and greys... http://www.apha.com/breed/coatcolors.htm... http://www.amha.org/index.asp?keyname=51... http://home.flash.net/~walkersw/colors2.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/category:ho... http://www.apha.com/breed/coatcolors.htm... http://www.amha.org/index.asp?keyname=51... http://home.flash.net/~walkersw/colors2.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/category:ho... He is grey. He just looks like he is at a point in his color-changing life where if halfway between becoming flea bitten and shading out of his dapples. He is a lovely horse, and currently has a very striking color, with his dark grey legs keeping a lovely contrast between his whiting out body and dark mane & tail. Lovely looking horse - he will just lose his dapples as he continues to age, and will be a completely flea bitten grey horse. |
