I try to upload pictures for my photo gallery on the friendster .com . Tbut some of the pictures could not be uploaded because it's too big. Please give some ideas on how to resize the pictures. Thank you so much.

I'm not familiar with friendster and with what they allow in sizes, but my guess is that you were trying to upload .bmp's right? If so, open such a pic and save it as .jpg or .gif - that reduces the size considerably! You might also want to check IrfanView, a very good freeware tool, which has more options for resizing, like changing the height and width of a pic for example.
