How do I put my pictures on a thumb drive? |
How do I put my pictures off of my computer to a thumb/zip drive? I have windows vista and the windows photo gallery that comes with it. When you insert the Thumb drive, a window pops up, and you can open that folder. Grab the title bar at the top of that folder and drag that whole window out of your way. Then open up your photos folder in a separate window. Drag the photo folder, and drop the whole thing into your thumb drive window. Learn how to use Windows Explorer. That is in the Accessories section of your Programs section. Good luck and Happy Computing! I probably do it the old-fashioned way, plus I don't know anything about Vista but I go to My Pictures, highlight the ones I want, right click and send them to the drive letter that my flash drive is attached to at the time. the easiest way for me is to go into my computer after plugging the thumb drive in. Go to your picture folder where they are located. Highlight the ones you want, and then right click and copy them. Then go back to your thumb drives drive. And paste them in there. Or you can highlight them all and right click and click send to and should give you an option of the drive that the thumb is in. |
