Windows Vista Start Menu Search?

Hi, I just got Vista recently, and for some reason, my start menu search is really weird.
I have a sample here:

If I search "windows," a bunch of things come up, but PROGRAMS don't. Like, Windows Photo Gallery or Windows Media Player.
I've tried typing out the whole name and also stopping in the middle of words... Nothing seems to get PROGRAMS to show up, only files, and other things.
Do I need to install a plugin or something to fix this?

Try right-clicking your Start button...select properties...Click on the Start menu tab...."Dot" start menu...and click on Customize and reset to default. It should look like this
