A question bout windows live messenger 8.5 beta 2? |
i downloaded it fr de windows live betas website.....but i cant open it.....so i tried installing wlm 8.1.....but de installer says i hv 2 get rid o de 8.5 version.....which isnt in my comp.....but there is tis windows live folder....yet it only contains windows live photo gallery n writer n installer n toolbar....no messenger.....i tried deleting all o them but de comp says its either in use or write protected.....so wat do i do? 1.Restart your computer, boot in safe mode, uninstall windows live. (Go to start, click settings, click control panel, click add or remove programs, then remove any windows live/messenger installed) 2. Reboot computer to normal mode, then reinstall windows live again. 3. If it still not working, there's a possibility that your computer have viruses, update your antivirus first then perform scan for viruses on your computer. Restart the computer in safe mode (press F8 while the computer is rebooting and select the Safe Mode boot). Then delete the folder. Safe Mode won't load these files therefore they will be unlock and deletion will be possible. |
