Vista has problems saving GIFs.?

When I save an animated GIF on my computer (Which is a Vista, if that matters?) It never saves the entire animation, only the first frame. It never did this on my old Windows XP. This is so frustrating, but I don't know how else I should save it. Any suggestions?

Details: I generally preview my pictures with Windows Photo Gallery, and I just save them off the internet like normal. They just refuse to play. I've tried to save it in both Firefox and IE, but neither show any results, though I don't know if that's the problem. Is there a certain program I can open it in that will allow it to play?

And how the fudge do you reply to people's comments on this damn thing? :/

Deleted previous question post: I screwed it up.

this cause Photo Gallery not supported to GIF extension just play with IE or use another program

it just support for FIX images like jpg or bmp
