As for your question: *shrug* I can't see why mid-east desert religion need have any bearing on it. It doesn't. Way to think out of the box! I love it! It applies to your life insofar as you choose to have it apply. The Universe The idea of a Creator God who loves has universal application. Love, integrity, honesty, kindess, righteousness; these are not just needed in the desert, but in the mountains and everywhere else as well. I didn't know there were any ancient desert religions. I thought all religions were about people and their gods. Because you were created by the same God who created the Olympic Mountains in the rain forest. The Lord of Host says heaven and earth may pass away but His Word would never pass. There was a man in the Bible who had numerous possessions and he was going to build a barn the next morning to put everything in for safe keeping. The Lord said you fool, your soul is required of thee tonight. |
