here is a list from SI.com http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/multime... Without looking at the list I'd say Bob Gibson, Don Drysdale, Bob Feller, and Mariano Rivera. Mariano Rivera Bro, closing the ninth not even taking time for the list nolan ryan in houston, the day a line drive came back at him and hit him in the face. he refused to leave and pitched the rest of the inning with a trail of blood falling from both nostrils down into his shirt wow Goose gossage,he almost killed Ron Cey(Nickname "penguin"3rd baseman,Dodgers) Don Drysdale, Don Newcome Cool list,I forgot some of those names. Drysdale would just as soon hit you,Gossage was scary. I also think Rob Dibble would do ya some damage also. Nolan Ryan..... When I played for the Twins from '73 to '76 and Nolan was with the Angels, Not only did I shudder when at bat.... My whole Team did. Nolan was the Intimidator. 103 mph fastball !! Been there and done it. |
