PHP And Using mouse HOW?!!? |
I creat a photo gallery and i want to make rearrange to the photo gallery such as in yahoo groups but i have no idea about using mouse with php i want a good resource to learn using mouse with php (finally i want to drag and drop the photo in any place in the page). You can't. Using a mouse is done with Javascript. The reason is that PHP works entirely on the server side while Javascript is client side. See the link for one of the best websites for Javascript information. The second link talks about Javascript and CSS positioning. Aikoto is right, you can't do that with PHP. However you could do that with Javascript AND with Flash too. Maybe Flash could offer an easier solution to this dev (but it depends which you know better) Look into using Ajax and other similar techniques. with Ajax you can let the client side (javascript) interact with the server side (php, asp, coldfusion, etc..)
