How Do I Get my CD Photos? |
I've read previous answers. Don't get it. Took 72 pics to Walgreens. Transferred to CD. Put CD in E Drive. They come up, but how do I save them to Windows Photo Gallery? How do I save them to HP Photosmart Essential? I'm going crazy. Tried editing in Photosmart when they first appeared and got Read Only message. I have scanned my own photos with no problem in saving. I've put the CD in twice, saw the pictures, can't do anything with them, get out of Picture programs and then lose them. I am starting over and I need help, please! When you open the CD images, save them into a folder on your hard drive. The original remains, untouched on the CD. Then when you have the copy from your hard drive opened, you can make changes to your heart's content! Source(s): Designer, Illustrator and Desktop Publisher for over 30 years. As long as the pictures are on the CD ONLY they will disappear when you remove the CD. First thing you need to do is to copy the picture to "My Document > My Pictures" From there you can do all your other work (windows photo gallery, etc.). If you don't know how to copy photos then that much you can always ask somebody around you. It is generic enough that somebody could show you much easier than you can learn by reading here. Good Luck. All files stored on a CD are read only ... you just have to go into your file manager and change the files attributes so they are no longer read only. Put them in a file folder that you choose. Maybe put them in My Pictures? Name the folder so you know what is in it. DigiPro Go to the folder on the CD where the images exist and select them all, then copy them all to your computer in a folder somehere...probably under My Pictures. Put the CD somewhere safe for archiving. |
