How Do You Download Photos From Windows To A Mac? |
I saved about 55 photos from Windows Photo Gallery onto a CDR, but when I try to play the photos on a Mac using iMovie, the disc doesn't appear on the desktop. It appears on other Windows computers, but not on Mac. Any suggstions? Is this a question about drive-through at mickey-d's? You mean, the CD doesn't mount at all? That's really bizarre. Try putting the pics onto a thumb drive, and see if that works. I've never had any problems with viewing pics either on my Mac or on my PC. Both recognize just about all image formats. You may also want to ensure that your CD drive on the Mac is working. Stick in a music CD or something to see if that mounts. You could also try using an external CD drive via USB or Firewire to the Mac. I have had this experience in the past. The file format .jpg vs jpeg might be it but I can tell you that I've use a ZIP program, "zipped" the photos (.zip file) and emailed them to myself, opening my email with the Mac and then downloaded. If there's a simplier way, I'd like to know also. |
