How do you fade the border of a photo in photoshop? |
I want to fade the edge of a photo, similar to the following link. How do I do it in photoshop? http://www.kingdomcome.org/gallery/album... Click the Rectangular Marquee tool. An options bar will appear above the work area. Enter a value in the feather box (I recommend 30). Now draw a rectangle around your image just inside the border (you have to have some pixels outside the rectangle). Press CTRL+Shift+I to invert the selection. Make sure your foreground color is black by clicking on the black&while tiles near the color picker. Now press Delete. Press CTRL+D to deselect and view your faded border. Enjoy. there is a button on the edit screen that will do this, or you can fade it yourself Use the feather tool. Or do a gradient mask. Or use the erase tool with a large brush that has a fade effect. |
