Yahoo photos will close...I need help on which of these site is the best for photo storage.?

I need your reviews on these photo sites:
Kodak Gallery
Photobucket
Flickr
Snapfish
Shutterfly
If you have photos on these sites please let me know what the positive and negatives are. Thanks.

Ok well I dont have any of the ones you have listed. I choose to move my photos to picasa web albums. Here is the link so you can check it out your self

http://picasa.google.com/intl/en_us/web/...

Its completely free, and you can invite friends and family to view your photos, or even make them for puplic display, you or your friends can add captions and comments, your friends and family can download the photos or get prints made, so far I havnt found anything negative about the service.

In order to get your photos there you will have to either download them backt to your comp, if you dont have a lot, or order an archive cd which you can do with this company for free, pay $3.99 for shipping

http://www.backupr.com/

They also send you your photos in a zip file via email, got mine the very next day and received the cd within 4 days.

Hope this helps

:-))

I have my photos on Flickr, and the thing that I like about it is that I can do more than just dump them there and leave them. Photography is a big hobby for me, so I like the fact that on Flickr you can post photos to groups and people can comment on them and give you tips. Flickr is also a good place to start if you want to try and get some photos published (not for money). My dad had a picture publised in an Argentinian children's textbook, and I am waiting to hear if one of mine was accepted for a travel guide book.

If you just want a site to put your photos on so that friends and family can see them, Flickr might not be the best choice. As long as they know your Flickr screen name, they can look at your photos, but they can't comment on them. And as long as you have a free account, you can only see the 200 most recent pics on your photostream.

Here's some quick info about Flickr, and links to the other sites: http://flickr.com/help/yahoophotos/...

And here's the official Flickr forum about moving your pictures to Flickr (if that's what you decide): http://flickr.com/help/forum/en-us/42813...

Hope that helps!
