Yahoo Photos mentions Kodak Gallery as one of the choices to move photos too. I already have an account with Kodak, but it is not listed as one of my choices.
Probably because I had paid to buy many prints through Yahoo/Target, I had never seen the options for SnapFish or Photobucket (this is becasue these 2 services wouldn't print to Target). Starting July 1st, Kodak Gallery was gone too. See my Yahoo question referred below. I contacted Yahoo on this, and on July 3rd I received an answer from Jamie L. of Yahoo Customer Care, stating "Due to your type of account the only affiliates we can offer you are for Flickr or Shutterfly." I wish they were more specific about the status of my account that makes Kodak Gallery unavailable for me.
So it's a matter of policy. As they're no longer even listed at the top of "Yahoo photos closing" page, my hypothesis is that Kodak Gallery could no longer afford to have all these users migrating from Yahoo, so they backed out of the deal. I don't know whether they'd be back on board again. Others who called Kodak Gallery have been told that they're having a technical problem, and would be back soon. So, you might want to wait, or start manually downloading Yahoo Photos, in case you have to later upload them manually to Kodak Gallery.
