Since Yahoo Photos is closing, I want to move my photos to Kodak Gallery now. How do I do it? |
The instructions on Yahoo Photos makes it sound like an easy process that Kodak Gallery will take care of. But I can't find on either of their websites how to transfer everything. I won't do it one by one, since I have thousands of photos. Oh, and I want to do it now and not later this summer since I will be visiting family and it has already taken them 2 years to figure out how to print photos at Target though Yahoo Photos. I want to show them in person how to use Kodak... You can't do it yet. They said it will happen later this summer. Source(s): http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/photos/... 1st of all you're going to have to register to Kodak, photobucket, flickr or the site you're transferring to then they will provide the link to yahoo photos to transfer them. I just don't know right now if they have all set up the link yet. Anyway, make sure you send Yahoo email to let them know how disappointed you are with the latest move and have your friends do the same. If enough people let them know how it affects them maybe they will change their mind.... Account transfers will begin in mid-June. You'll select which site you want to move to and all of your photos will transfer. This process will take a few hours to a day or two depending on how much account traffic their is. You don't have to physically do anything besides choose which service you want to move to. More instructions will come in June in your email. Only Flickr, Kodak Gallery and Shutterfly will print to a Target store although only Flickr, for the first few months, will print up to 8x10. If you want to show your family how to use Kodak Gallery, printing to a Target store for Kodak Gallery and Shutterfly will begin May 30th. Printing to a Target store is already available for Flickr.
