I downloaded my pictures from my digital camera to my windows photo gallery. how do i email them to someone ?

Top left hand corner file send to.
when writing an e-mail it will say add attachments
use an upload website like photo bucket or picasa. then you can email to who ever and sometimes depending on what email you use they will upload them for you.

The easiest way is to add them as attchments.
Locate where windows put the files (probably in my documents> My Pictures), then go to your email and find the attach files button. Then browse for the files, select and your done!
