If I transfer to a public school in second semester, will universities not like it?

I currently attend to a private christian school, that sucks.
The system is disorganized and I really want to get out of here.
Teachers can't even teach. The drama teacher can teach film and health.
A fireman teaches biology, government, and geography. etc..

I am planning to transfer to a public highschool,
in order to have more options for myself.
They have more courses and selections for myself.
I am aiming for USC Film School, however, so do they mind?
I am currently taking english honors, math analysis (pre cal),
chemistry, and world history.
However, if I transfer over there.. I am planning to replace my bible class
with photography, take the same english honors, pre cal, and actually change to have chemistry honors, and world history honors.

In this case, will universities still not like that I transfer in second semester to a public school?
I am in sohpmore currently.

Universities will be very curious as to how you will do when you switch schools. If you are doing well at the school you are in and transfer to another, seemingly more challenging school, and do just as well or better, this would certainly point out to them that you do well in changing and transitioning and would likely do will in the transition to college. Colleges look for improvement and aptitude, not absolute perfection. They would rather take someone who shows great potential than the one whose spark may have hit its apex already!

I think if you are taking the same classes, it doesn't usually matter what school you're at. Plus, you will have more opportunities and learn more at a better school.

Universities don't care what high school you go to as long as you prove yourself wherever you go. Get good grades, join student activities. Be a volunteer in the community. Those things count. For your university dreams, try to join some photography clubs.

I think that as long as you have good grades in high school it doesn't matter. It shows that you are serious about getting an good education. So go ahead and transfer to the school you want. I know of one woman who did transfer to a different high school and she had no problems getting into college.

as long as you keep good grades

your fine

As you know by now, private doesn't always equal better. Colleges are aware of that, too. What matters is the difficulty of the courses you're taking in relation to what the school offers and what the college's minimum requirements are, and it sounds like your new school is going to be much better for you in that regard. If you're really concerned, you can address the move in an optional essay when you're ready to apply, but I don't think it'll be an issue.
