What kind of courses to be a paparazzi and/or a journalist for the tabloid mags like star, people etc.? |
i'm in to photography and journalism but i dont want to have to choose one or the other besides i seriously doubt that i can make a living as a paparazzi or photog right off, so i was thinking maybe i could double major as a Photographer and as a Journalist becuase i do definitely want to write for a magazine Most schools don't offer photojournalism majors, so if you decide you want a journalism degree, your best bet is to major in that and take as many photojournalism courses within your major as you can. You can also consider taking a photography double major as you suggested - it depends where you end up going to school. Important note - you don't have to major in journalism to be a journalist. It doesn't really matter what you major in. It's more important that you get experience such as internships, and working as a photographer/writer for your school's paper. |
