How do i ask a girl to a movie without leading her on?

Im gay but haven't come out yet. Im going into the city with this girl on saturday with her mom to go to a museum and take pictures for my photography course but i wanted to chill with her before then. I was thinking we could see a movie but i dont want to lead her on or anything. How do i make it look like we're going as friends? I dont want to hurt her feelings or anything. We're friends its just that im worried this may send a wrong signal what do you think?

we're friends...friends hang out...which is why im going to the city and wanted to see a movie...

Sorry, but you can't. Not unless you can give her a very clear reason- such as you're gay. The usual stuff doesn't really work. Even if you said straight out that you wanted to go as friends, that will translate in her mind to: "Maybe we can be something more than friends eventually," or "I'm so interested in you, that I want to go out of my way to make it seem like I'm not interested."

Sucks I know....but that's the way it is. So, if you aren't obviously gay (maybe she already knows?) or you're not willing to come out to her- then there is a strong possibility that you will lead her on. Sorry. Good luck to you though!

maybe try making it a small group thing and invite a few other people, so it's not like a date.

Why would you want to ask her to a movie if you are not interested in her? I don't get it.

just keep it friendly. try to aviod any contact that coulld be considered in anyway sexual (holding hands, arm around her, butt pinching ect.) hang out with her as if she was one of your best guy friends that your arnt attracted to.
