South Aussies: SACE certificate question...? |
Does anyone know whether you need to have completed SACE Stage 1 to have officially completed SACE Stage 2? To explain more thoroughly - SSABSA made a mistake on my SACE certificate. It says I didn't do photography in year 11 (but I actually did do it) so I APPARENTLY I didn't do enough units to complete Stage 1 properly. But it does say I passed all the required units for SACE Stage 2, which I did. And to get into the TAFE course I want to do you have to have completed SACE Stage 2. So my question is, when TAFE say they want Stage 2 completed - is it a seperate thing from Stage 1, or will the fact that I apparently haven't completed Stage 1 mean that I haven't completed Stage 2? Completion of SACE Stage 1 (year 11) is a prerequisite for enrolling in Stage 2 (year 12). Once you complete Stage 1 you go onto completing Stage 2, effectively year 11 and 12. If you have the certificate and it says that you have successfully completed Stage 2, then it means that you have completed Stage 1 too. Without stage 1 you cannot go onto stage 2. You should contact SSABSA and get them to fix their mistake and post you a correct copy of your certificate as it is an important document you will need for TAFE or uni. Hope this helps! A |
