I know it may be a little out there, but I did this for my husband. I went to the dollar store and got 30(this was for our one month wedding anniversary, cheesy, I know) I love you and heart balloons(whatever kind they had, I think there were 4 different varieties) a pack of blank index cards, a hole punch and a red marker. I went online and looked up ways to say I love you. Each index card got a different language on it(I even had Klingon), and the card got tied to the bottom of a balloon. I let all the balloons loose all over the house for when my hubby came home from work. I was in bed by the time he got home, but I was awakened by his kisses and crying. He loved it, it was amazing. It took me awhile to get it set up just perfectly, but the response was definately worth it. He still talks about it more than a year later. And all the little hanging things all over the house kept my 2 cats busy for DAYS. Best of luck :-) |
